Membrane-type Buffer

Products
A Key Equipment to Stabilize System Pressure Fluctuations and Extend Pump and Pipeline Life The HPD Series is a diaphragm pulsation dampener that uses a top and bottom shell structure with a PTFE + rubber composite diaphragm separating the compressed gas from the conveyed liquid. It effectively absorbs pressure pulsations, achieving up to 90% pulsation suppression, making it an essential pressure stabilization solution for metering pumps and chemical transfer systems. Product Features The recommended buffer size is the metering pump’s single stroke output multiplied by 10. This can effectively eliminate about 90% of pressure pulsations, stabilizing the system and enhancing pipeline durability. For example, if the pump’s single stroke output is 100mL, a buffer with at least a 1L capacity is recommended.
Diaphragm Buffer
HPD Series
The diaphragm separates the gas and liquid inside, ensuring stable pressure even during prolonged operation. It is suitable for various metering and high-precision transfer applications.
The wetted parts consist of the bottom shell and diaphragm. The standard diaphragm uses multi-directional rolled PTFE + rubber material, offering excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. A high-temperature-resistant PTFE + acrylate diaphragm is also available as an option.
It reduces water hammer effects and flow velocity peak fluctuations, protecting pipelines, fittings, and valves from pressure shock damage.
It creates a stable pressure environment for metering pumps, improving output accuracy and operational efficiency. It can be paired with a backpressure valve to achieve near-pulsation-free delivery.
Stable pressure allows the use of smaller diameter pipes, saving material and system space costs.
